What We Believe

The Bible
Here’s the English translation of your text:
We teach that the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God in everything it teaches (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21). It is the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
God
We teach that God is one in essence, but eternally exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). Each Person is fully God, sharing the same indivisible divine essence (Exodus 3:14; John 14:11).
Jesus Christ
We teach that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, truly God and truly man. He was born of the Virgin Mary through the work of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18-25), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), died on the cross as a vicarious sacrifice for our sins (1 Peter 2:24), rose bodily on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4), ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9-11), and will return in glory (Revelation 19:11-16).
The Holy Spirit
-
We teach that God created man (Adam) from the dust of the earth and breathed into him the breath of life, making him a living person (Genesis 2:7). Woman was created from the man’s rib as a suitable helper (Genesis 2:18). God created them male and female, with biologically defined and distinct sexes (Genesis 1:27; 2:5–23), with rational and immortal souls, made in His image in knowledge, righteousness, and holiness.
-
God’s purpose in creating man was to glorify Him, enjoy fellowship with Him, and live in His will. With Adam’s disobedience (Genesis 2:16–17), humanity lost its innocence, original righteousness, and fellowship with God, incurring spiritual and physical death, becoming completely corrupted in soul and body (Genesis 6:5), and falling under the wrath of God.
Salvation
-
We teach that salvation is entirely from God and is granted to us solely by grace, through faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and by the merit of His shed blood (Ephesians 1:7; 2:8–10). It is not based on human merit, but rather the perfect righteousness of Christ is imputed to the sinner through faith in Him (Romans 3:22, 26).
-
The Order of Salvation
-
Election: The sovereign act of God by which, before the foundation of the world, He chose in Christ those whom, by His grace, He regenerates, saves, sanctifies, and glorifies (Romans 8:28–30; Ephesians 1:3–11).
-
Effectual Calling: The sovereign act of God through the gospel, by which He summons people to come to Him with saving faith.
-
Regeneration: The supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that imparts new spiritual life (Titus 3:5).
-
Conversion: The voluntary response to the gospel in repentance and faith in Christ for salvation (Acts 3:19).
-
Repentance: Genuine sorrow for sin, turning away from it, and a resolve to obey Christ (Titus 2:11–12).
-
Faith: Personal trust in Christ as Savior, based on the knowledge and acceptance of the truth of His work (Romans 1:17).
-
-
The Church
-
We teach that all who trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord are baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ, the Church (1 Corinthians 12:12–13), which is the bride of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2), and of which He is the head (Ephesians 1:22).
-
We teach that leadership, gifts, order, discipline, and worship are established by the sovereignty of God according to the Scriptures. We also affirm the importance of discipleship (Matthew 28:19–20) and the mutual responsibility among believers (Matthew 18:5–14).
Spiritual Gifts
-
We teach that Christ manifests His character in the Church through spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit gives each believer, at the moment of conversion, a gift to serve the body (1 Corinthians 12:11).
-
Permanent gifts: These remain active and build up the Church, such as prophecy (proclamation), teaching, faith, wisdom, knowledge, mercy, exhortation, generosity, administration, and discernment (1 Corinthians 14:1–4).
-
Temporary gifts: These served the purpose of authenticating the apostolic ministry and are not ongoing in the Church, such as miracles, healing, tongues, and the interpretation of tongues (Acts 14:1–31; 1 Corinthians 14:1–4; 2 Corinthians 12:12).
-
This does not mean that God cannot work miracles or heal according to His sovereign will.
The Angels
-
We teach that angels are created beings made to serve and worship God, and they must not be objects of worship (Hebrews 1:6–7).
-
Fallen angels: Satan is a created angel who sinned by rebelling against God (Isaiah 14:12–17; Ezekiel 28:11–19). He will be eternally punished in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10).
The Last Things (Eschatology)
-
Death: Physical death does not imply the loss of immaterial consciousness. The soul of the redeemed goes immediately into the presence of Christ (Luke 23:43; Philippians 1:23), while the body awaits the resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4:13–17).
-
Resurrection: There will be a bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life (John 6:39) and the unbelievers to judgment and eternal punishment (John 5:29)
-
Rapture: Christ will personally come for His Church before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 4:16; Titus 2:13).
-
Tribulation: A period of divine judgments upon the unbelieving world, culminating in the glorious coming of Christ (Matthew 24:27–31; Revelation 16).
-
Second Coming and Millennial Kingdom: After the tribulation, Christ will reign for a thousand years from the throne of David (Revelation 20:1–7; Matthew 25:31).
-
Final Judgment: At the end of the millennium, Satan will be defeated and cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:9–10). Christ will judge all at the great white throne (Revelation 20:11–15).
-
Eternity: The saved will live with God in the new creation, in eternal fellowship with Him (2 Peter 3:10; Revelation 21–22).
The Family
-
We teach that God instituted the family as the foundation of society. It is made up of marriage, blood ties, or adoption.
-
Marriage is the union of a man and a woman, a covenant for life (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5; Malachi 2:14).
-
The husband must love his wife as Christ loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25). The wife must willingly submit to the servant leadership of her husband (Ephesians 5:22; Titus 2:5; 1 Peter 3:1).
-
Parents must teach and model spiritual and moral values (Ephesians 6:4).
-
Children must honor and obey their parents (Ephesians 6:1–3).
